    Why Opt2.net?
    Testimonials FAQ
We will let our customers tell you why:

Thank you for your help. I feel real good about your company, as I didn't expect a "personal" response.
    Kimberly H.

I thought it would be days before I heard from you (it is most places) and I was very thankful to see your email in my inbox.
    Michael L.

I just want too take a minute to say that it is awesome to have such service in a net world that seems to care more about numbers than the person. Your response rate and your genuine concern is unsurpassed. I have been with domstar for well over a year and now with 6 domains I have had many questions. Other company's would have labeled me as a constant bug, but your company treats me as an inquiring customer that you want to satisfy! I do appreciate this and am sure others do as well.
    Client for life, Joseph L.

I thought your great hosting prices meant I would have to compromise in other departments like server speeds and customer service, and I was willing to do that since price was a consideration. What a pleasure to find that your servers and your service beat the $18-per-month hosting that Dell Hosting charges us for our other domain!
    Regards,
    Sandeep S.

After checking out the many register services out there, I'm glad to have found the easiest and user friendly sites I've ever been too. [domstar] I did my homework and what you offer at your price, heck you have them beat. Plus their sites are so double talked hard to figure out what the heck they offer, how much, and whats the catch. LOL. Send me a banner to your site, if ya have one laying around or I could make one up. Catch ya around.
    Daniel K.

Thanks, I LOVE working with you guys...you are so fast!
    Signa P.

Our client found themselves in a difficult situation with a domain name registered through your service. Your professional concern and personal assistance as a liasion has helped us to resolve the issues in a beneficial manner. It is a pleasure to work with a company that has the client's best interest in mind.

What about those places that offer "unlimited" bandwidth/service/users? Read the fine print. They reserve the right to limit your bandwidth or bump you to a higher costing package if you exceed their undisclosed limits. Bandwidth is the life blood of hosting. All other costs are fixed and manageable. Bandwidth is the one that we all have to pay. There is no free lunch. Besides, our smallest account provides for 1Gig of Bandwidth per month. Do you know much much 1Gig of Bandwidth is? That's 1 million 1,000 character emails. Do you get that many emails? That's 100,000 page views of a 10K page, or 1000 downloads of a 1Meg file. 1Gig of bandwidth is plenty for most people's sites, and at a price of $57/year, you can't beat it!

Why not use one of those places that offers "free" webpages? Well for one thing, you may be giving up your rights to any and all content you publish on those "free" sites. From Yahoo's (and now GeoCities) Terms of Service:

[These terms give Yahoo] "the royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, nonexclusive, and fully sublicensable right and license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, perform, and display such content (in whole or part) worldwide and/or to incorporate it in other works in any form, media, or technology now known or later developed."

From A Cnet Article on this comes the following warning:

Some intellectual property attorneys have suggested that users not reregister, blocking Yahoo from having rights to their material. "There is a real fear, because that type of clause would give extensive rights to Yahoo in this case," said Francoise Gilbert, an intellectual property rights attorney at law firm Gray Cary Ware & Freidenrich.
